1948 Redskins vs Colts

This game is an example of the statement that the "game was closer than the score indicates". If you look at the stats below, it looks like Baltimore won this game easily. Sammy Baugh, only completed 6 of 23 passes for Washington. According to the ratings I assigned him, he should be the best QB in the league. A closer inspection of the stats reveals that Baltimore killed themselves with turnovers. Washington lead 17-7 with about 10 minutes left in the game when they broke it open with a punt return and a fumble return for TD's.

I had it wrong- Baugh was 6 of 24 passing not 6 of 23. You can see from the stats that the 2 QB's also starred on defense as they both interecpted passes.
