Passing HELP!

Post by hack153 »

I've read the manuel, and worked on this for about 2 hours and still cannot get the PDS to let my player pass the ball. he just takes off running down the field.

the commands i am using:
drop back
wait
pass

i also tried stand...move to...

any thoughts?

When you started the PDS and started the play creation process, on the screen were you choose the formation to work with, make sure that the type of play is a pass and not run.  I have done that by mistake in the past, if the play type is run the QB will not pass the ball, also all the OL will have a run block logic assigned.

How far back is your QB dropping?  If it is a short drop, he won't have time to make proper reads and he will take off if it is a read pass.

Do you have it set up like this?
Point 1 (starting point): [Dropback]
Point 2: [Wait for]
            [Pass - Read]
