Anyway the game I am playing right now has me on ~aug 8 pushing the germs back to their frontier. I waited to winter to use my planes and have depleted their forces pretty good. They also left the south fairly weak when they couldn't break my lines at Kiev. I think I will be home for Christmas 43

Sorry, you don't get awarded points for beating the AI!

The AI was really meant for the Russians, and even there it is less than mediocre. Its totally incompetent at playing the Germans and will always be that way. There is hope that later on when all the other stuff is done, some work might be done on the AI to make it better at playing the Soviets, but I can't see it ever being capable of playing the Germans.

Hi!

You should give the germans "Help" or "Max Help" to make the game interesting for you. But still he will leave his panzer korps sometimes without fighter cover, so hit him serious with your airforce. (Russia have a lots of bombers) A human player will never leave his Tanks without fighter cover.
Another thing I do sometime:
Make the first german turn by yourself, then if it's russias turn save the game. Then let the computer play the germans, you choose russia. This helps the german a little.
