Sterling Price

No not Rooster Cogburns cat the DE in this game. Seems to me its worth spending the 125x3 for Sterling Price. Its not cheap but you get the automatic placement and then can upgrade him. I'm hoping its not possible for the North to get there and destroy him when he appears. Anyone say no to Sterling Price?

True Grit has IMO one of the greatest scenes of time..Love the Duke

I always take Price. Keeps the Union somewhat honest in southern Missouri and stops them shooting straight into Arkansas.

Price can get back to his force but it is another example in my view, like the placement of the intitial Rebel gunboats where a more random arrival point would stop the Union player beelining for Price and knowing exactly where the rebel force is concentrating.

I saw the thread title and the first thing I thought of was Cogburn's cat in True Grit. He had to shoot the rats himself because the General couldn't be bothered. 🤠
