Post by ClaudeJ »

Hey there,

DB3K_514 Weapon #1015 - KAB-250-100PL Zagon-1 [S3V] Guided Depth Charge have its type* showing its ID rather than its description field in the DB Viewer.

I don't see any error being thrown out though. However, I can't seem to use the weapon properly.

Weapons type 4012 is a multistage missile, which may not mean much if they modelled it that way. I don't think I've seen weapons type field in the db viewer using the actual type name instead of its text name.

It has an 80 Poh but normal depth charges have a 99% in game. I'd raise it as there is no indication this weapons fails at any astronomical rate.

Hey Mike,

what I meant is that in the DB viewer, as far as I've observed, the value displayed there is usually pulled from the Description field of the EnumWeaponType table (not from the EnumWeaponCode table, as far as I can tell).

It's the first, and only, time I've seen that behaviour, that is the value is from the Type field, not the Description field. Hence this "ticket".

As for its Poh, thanks for the heads up, I've raised it on Github.

Cheers
