Like all of these things, it depends what you like, really. RO is much more "realistic" than BF2, DoD or CoD2, but is not an ultra-realism game either. Some will find it not realistic enough, and others will find it far too slow, but I think its a pretty good balance. The armor in particular is very nicely done, and tank battles are a hoot.

How chaotic this whole thing is? I am partially afraid this game will be enjoyable only for people in various clans etc. Can I just pop in on some random server, pick a side and have fun? Tanks are crewed by 2-3 guys, OK if I come with buddies, but what happens if I just randomly get into tank with a guy I have never seen before? How do I give or receive orders etc.?
When you say slow, are you referring to movement? Is it like Ghost Recon slow?

One has to wonder, once initial hype wears off, will there be critical mass of people playing this online in, like, 4 weeks?
