You can easily alter the graphics. If you simply swap the files, though, you may end up with Polder instead of olive groves. Or some similar fate. [:D]

There are some Mods done by Bil H. for BftB that work in CotA, giving the maps a more Northern European look.

It would be up to Bil or Dave to give the OK to have these uploaded to one of the AA community websites for public use.

Well I just made a copy of the old MapPat file and played around with it, used some of BilH's Brown and a little of his Green and I like it.......I may be the only one but it really does highlight the rugged terrain more and almost gives you the feel of contour lines that some people have wanted...... heres a screen........if there is interest and no problem from BilH I will be glad to forward for posting.

Hey now, I don't remember giving my permission to release this work...

..ahh alright, you have my blessing  [;)]

Too rich for my tastes though (there is a reason I tossed that color palette when I started on the COTA graphics), but good luck.

Yes, you can download new graphic mods, like this one I made yesterday, to improve my precedent one, with mediterranean colors and better contrast ;

Don't hesitate to ask me more variations around my mods, if I have enough time, I will do my best for the community. This game is so great !
