No it doesn't work like that. When each new reinforcement group arrives it does so independently of its organic superior, unless they too are part of the reinforcement group. When they arrive the Reattach button on the sidebar should lightup if you select the boss of the reinf gp and it's organic superior is on-map. Simply hit the reattach button and the organic superior will either replan or the reinforcement will advance to the superior and wait till he next replans. Unfortunately the reattach button has a bug in it in the current release version and so this doesn not work. I have fixed this for the patch.

Yes, Dave is right that reinforcements show up unattached. I was talking about the general case of top down driven auto behavior (auto-rest, auto-reorg, auto-wait, ...).

Why am I the only one here can put forward some gamey or semi-gamey tactics? Are the rest of so much more honorable in your playing styles? I suppose Eddy would probably say that it takes a special kind of scoundrel to be a beta-tester; guilty, I guess. :)
