Feedback on 1.71 Beta Patch

Goodaye,

Having just checked the redone list of American Commanders I find that good old Brigadier Ebenezar Learned is still running around with a body double. Probably a handy accessory in those dark and dangerous days.

Goodaye,

I'll also add that the tactical AI seems to have sharpened up somewhat with the new patch. Well done.

HI,

Only played one tactical battle as the American side and noticed two things that didn't look quite right.

The first occured during the battle. British Artillery that had been routed and hadn't recovered were moving back towards their commanders/or the American forces (looked like two hexes) and then retreating again at the end of the turn if they still hadn't recovered. After a few turns it looked like the light artillery batteries would eventually rout off the map, but the heavy artillery batteries would look like they would be moving back and forth in place about two hexes worth. There were only two British officers on the map and they were mostly in the same positions relative to the routed units most of the time. The British infantry that were routed I think they were doing the same thing as the light artillery batteries.

The other was the message window on the bottom of the screen it was: British -3 Zeal
followed by: Britsh +2 Zeal
This was an American victory.

Thanks, I really enjoy this game. So much that yesterday I bought four books on the Revolution at Amazon.
