wdboyd and Furyofaseraph I will PM you with a link to a dat file you can open or just enable.

I have been using Coxxon's first release. There is now a version1b, with some updated ships or textures. Problem is if we use the new ones the thruster animation coordinates will have to be redone. [:(] really tedious work there. Lucky for me I only did them on MK2 and MK7 so far.

In the mean time put them through some missions and see if they need some improvements.
we can discuss how to proceed. [:D]

Feel free to post some screenies[:D]

Right now I am running old-fashioned Starshatter. my current computer doesnt have enough memory to run Gathering storm. However, I will be getting a new machine in a week's time.... When that occurs, I will be upgrading. Until then, I'm going to avoid converting anything to SS, for sake of version conflicts. So I'm going to continue to hammer out my own fleet for that week (in 3ds Max and photoshop), then when I get the new machine and get situated with that, I will be getting back to the BSG stuff.
Fair enough?

Cylon Heavy Fighter texture conversion. Front.

You see that red glow? It actually moves back and forth in the game. Pretty neat.

The Big Bad Girl: Cylon Battlestar

Thanks, but I can't take much credit. These are great models. I'm merely manipulating the textures to get a look I like.

Aside from the Pegesus, what colonial military models are there? We did see the Valkarie I believe in flashback, but again that was another "battlestar"(ie..carrier?).

As for the cylon's its baseship, raiders, large troop carrying raiders and the resurrection ship. Are you adding some classes to both fleets?

Hi,

There are a LOT of other craft. The ones I have displayed are the only ones I am currently working on. Others will follow eventually.

I think we are shooting for putting out a relatively quick BSG mod with the smaller craft initially being highlighted along with missions for them to contend it.

I'm just a flunky. I'm working on some textures and possibly ironing out some deffing.[:D]

Sweeeeet!

Really looking forward to captaining one of those awsome looking BSG cruisers. The battles from the show (esp where pegasus was destroyed) were just stunning and a great game like SS has all the potential to match. Fine work there guys. You have everyone drooling...

you are not fooling anybody...anyone who has seen or played your mods knows that for sure.

IMHO you up there with the rest of the veterans wd...I doubt many here would argue that point. [:)]

I am also looking forward to this release...with each teaser on the ships I become more entranced with the thought of playing a few rounds of tag with the Cylons in a one of those fancy new Vipers.

or maybe just plowing the Peggy into any conviently parked BaseStar for a few kicks.

Very nice work people...very nice indeed.

Mk7

The Mk2 and Mk7 are looking good. Toshiro has the thrust vector positioning spot on. The weapon flashes and shots are beatifully done. Good work Toshiro.

You are certainly making the fighters alot more attractive for me to fly! I've mainly been interested in the starship control aspects the game allows up untill now.

Can anyone give afew hints as to the campaign/missions currently being worked on?
