Best MC for Tanks?

Post by hopej »

It's time to purchase a MC. Yes, I am feeling guilty playing such a good game for free. Also the MC's sound great.

I am looking at Desert Fox & Lost Vic. (I'll probably end up buying both). Which has the best tank/mechanized battles?

I think the answer is no, but are there any retail stores with the MC's?

I have a limited number of MC NA copies, so contact me privately if you can't find one by any other means

I can not say for sure because I have only played LV but historically speaking the biggest tank battles all took place in Russia. Though some large ones took place after the allied forces landed in France. But we do not have a MC for this.

Read my AAR about the Reconosance of Radziechow and see how big that tank battle was.

MCNA Desert Fox is your tank battle haven in my opinion.

I only have Desert Fox. There are a lot of tanks in this one. Your Core Force consists mainly in a tank company. There are a lot of very fun tank battles and desert was a great environment for mobile tank battles.
As far as I know Lost Victories Core Force is mainly infantry. And I suppose that Watch Tower (Guadalcanal) may be mainly infantry too. In fact the this was the reason about why I bought only MCNA.

I have both LV and DF...in DF u have plenty of very very good tank battles. In LV your core force is mainly composed by infantry, but very often you'll be supported by tanks....and when u first meet the Russian Heavy tanks.....believe me:It's great!!!!!

MCNA is best for tank battles... many of the maps give lots of options for maneuvering and attacking from different flanks and often the only protection you have is a ridge here and there.

But, to tell the truth, I have not played a lot of MCLV yet...

MCNA!

Post by John David »

I have all 3 MC's, but since I got them only a couple of weeks ago, my only experience is, so far, with MCNA as I want to play this one through before going on to the next MC.

As for tanks, this MC is full of them:cool:
I love it. It's a great challenge and as stated above, the open desert is perfect for tank battles.

I say, get all 3 MC's if you can:D , but if you love tanks, start with MCNA!

I wish you hadn't started this thread! I just ordered MCNA from chipsnbits because of your question and I was perfectly happy with MCLV! Here comes several more months of sleep deprivation.
