Custom Music

Post by jazman »

The game when it starts looks in the Music directory (in the game install directory) for .ogg files. You can use something like CDex to rip your favorite music to this format.

Put your files in the Music directory, and the game will cycle through them. It uses whatever is in that folder. So you can move the originals to a backup folder and you won't hear them.

Of course, you could just disable music and use Winamp or whatever to play anything (a lot easier).

It would appear that the easiest away to make the change is to turn the in-game music off and run a custom playlist via Windows media player. This works fine on my system and doesn't interfere with the other in-game sounds.
