v1.10 Public Beta Now Available!

Hi everyone,

The v1.10 Update is now available as a Public Beta via our Members Club. We plan to make this official next week, but while we do final testing we figured we'd offer you a change to get it early as well. This is still a beta, but it's stable and solid as far as we can tell. Barring any major issues being found, this will become the official update.

You can download this as a Registered Download as long as you have registered your Hornet Leader PC serial number in our Members Club (click on the MEMBERS link in the top nav bar).

Here's the change list:

v1.10
Features:
- NEW FEATURE: Added the ability to view loadouts/stats for individual pilots on the Initial Placement Screen by mousing over the pilots.

Fixes:
- Fixed SAM's in North Approach area were not always firing on Hornets in the Target Area.
- Fixed various glitches involving Recon Campaign track displays in Libya and North Korea.
- Fixed bugs with not always drawing enough Target cards in NK and Libya/Recon glitches.
- Fixed bugs with weapons available not being tracked properly, which resulted in the "Yes" button lighting improperly with the Bandit/Site attack random event, which if clicked with not enough weapons caused a game freeze.
- Fixed Display bug with random sites appearing in the target area not always appearing, but still firing.
- Fixed rare display bug with "invisible" site firing in north approach area (usually a SA-8).
- Fixed bug with ATG roll results being all 1's or 2's after the first one fired, if more than 1 was fired.
- Fixed Libyan map was displayed on Home Bound for Syria campaigns instead of the Syrian map.
- Fixed 1 ATG hit was not being deducted for the Syria - Top Scientists target.
- Fixed 1 hit was being deducted improperly from attacks against sites when they should have only been deducted from attacks against the special targets Top Scientists and Underground Bunker.

I'm still getting the lockup with the Bandit event at the end of the mission.
The yes button was lit up even though I had no pilots with AA ammo. The pilot who had the AA ammo was damaged during the mission.

Did you use the Jettison feature at all?

doesn't Patch upgrade the video res at 1280x800 ??

I tested the weapon tracking pretty extensively (including pilots getting damaged), and it worked well in my testing. I'll take a look though.

In my first game I drew the ATG event and said "NO", it said one pilot had weapons damaged and when I got to mission start in fact two did. I failed to screenshot it though.

Something is really off for me though. I keep getting goofy display errors. First it was the green box showing through but this time around far more severe. Just starting the mission I went to attack an enemy bandit and it told me after I scored a 10 that "Suppression was successfull".. Then the suppression box showed up. Each attack after that I do it tells me suppression was successful and many of the red circles stay.

The circle error thing after above error, notice it says im being attacked when Im the one attacking.

Must be something weird...just played thru 5 straight missions, nothing like this occured. It played fine. Had you suppressed during a previous mission? Had something weird happened?

I had that happen to me once in v1.0 where it said (and I rolled) a successful suppression but it wouldn't go away and I had to use the Evade button to get past it.

I don't think this is a new one in v1.1  -  I'm just not sure what exact situation caused it yet.  I'll keep a further eye out as it didn't happen too often.

This was only day 2 of the 18 day North Korea campaign. On day one I did my normal tactics where possible which is to blast everything and then suppress all enemy attacks air and ground each round. I do know that I did a greater number of suppressions in that mission than normal (several ATG ones since I had ample ATG R weapons left). But nothing weird happened during that mission. It was actually the best I ever think a mission went (Im pretty sure the enemy never got to attack me. All the suppressions were successful and I always had enough to suppress).

Could that be it? I'm just too good! :)
