It should be slap-bang on the front of the CD.

If that is the old retail version, then it would have no serial number at all. That was before we implemented our serial number system.

The retail disk has a date of 2003.
There is a small print number around the rim of the disk but this may only be a production number. I purchased the game well over a year ago, maybe two years.

The old retail version, would this apply to the Dpner, andKorsun pocket?

I'll just drop in here because I have same problem!  I had an inkling to play some WW2 strategy and I thought I'd give HTTR another go.  I was a little bit worried because I couldn't find my cd.  Anyways I was able to find it and I would like to register it with Matrix (like I've done with all my other games) just in case I do happen to lose the CD.  Is there anyway I can get a serial so I can register it in the My Games section?  Maybe take a picture of myself with the cd or something? :)

Actually nevermind. I just realized that you just register your serials with Matrix, not actually have the ability to download the game again if you lose it. Still, it would be nice to have an honorary serial number :)
