Bounds error????

OK I saw where Pheagey posted a similar question back in 06 on Bounds error and spec map. I know spec maps work in SSTGS, because I have used them on ships. I wanted to update my TOS BSG and I studied and got pretty good at using Blender and completed the overhaul of the TOS Battlestar. Got UV mapping done (pretty well anyway) and reworked the entire model. I exported it in Blender to a 3ds file. Imported it to Magic 1.5 did a rotation, then pulled it into Magic 2 and applied the texture, spec, emission and bump maps. All looked great!

BUT when I try to use the ship in SS it crashes to Desktop when it tries to load the ship in the pre-mission brief or trying to use it in a mission creation.

The error log has alot of the following errors listed

"Bounds error in List(05bb043c) T=Material index=152 max=0"

Any ideas at all???? I tried reducing the image size from 2048x2048 to 1024x1024, no luck same errors.

I worked hard to get the Galactica to this point and it is disappointing to say the least. It looks great in Magic and then wont run in game...aaahhhhh![:@]

Pheagey had posted a note about Bounds error and spec maps. I should have listened, I cleared the entry of the spec map and boom it works...but why. I have used spec maps before and no issue.

Still have a bit of re-defing to do...didn't quite get the scale the same and all turrets, engine glow, nav lights etc are beyond the ship body by a little. Maybe that has something to do with it.

At least it not as disheartening now, I can fix it....maybe[&:]
