The Possibilities of Fictionals

Yeah, they DO offer some promise. I just started a 2008 league with real teams, but did the draft with 100% fictional players. This allows me to proceed into the future without regard to real -world baseball concerns, with the exception of salaries. I'm frankly a complete newbie when it comes to finances and PS, as I previously played with finances off.

I only hope that the AI GMs can handle it. There seems to be plenty of money floating around, so I hope it won't be an issue. As a tax auditor in real life, I'm already becoming a notorious skinflint. [:D]

Seriously, though, it's already been proven that one can be frugal but yet produce a winning team. To keep that team intact, well, that's another story.
