Homers In A Game

Post by Frozen Stiffer »

I just came off a game where the Rockies were hosting my Marlins and I must say, Puresim did a phenomenal job of reproducing the thin, home run friendly air of Coors Field. We won the game easily with a score of 14-4, but what was REALLY fun was how between both teams, we logged 10 home runs. One of those homers came courtesy of my pitcher while another came during Jamey Carroll's pinch-hit appearance (Carroll is a Marlin at present). I'm pretty sure that if somebody from the grounds crew would have had an AB, he would have hit one into the stands too.

What the greatest number of home runs both teams have hit in a Puresim game you've played?

There's nothing better than seeing your pitcher hit a long ball except maybe having a player come off the bench, in a clutch situation, and hit a walk off home run [&o]

I don't know what my home run record is, but I recently simmed a game with 32 hits and 12 dingers, including one by the winning pitcher, Hugh Beeson--his fifth home run in 10 years. There was a 20 mph breeze blowing out toward center, and this clearly played a role in the number of homers.
