Sandbox mode

I have a silly question. If you play a league in sandbox mode, can you play only one year with those players? Say I want to have a mix of players from the 50's and 80's. Would it only be for one season, or can you continue playing like with a replay season? Hope that made sense.

During your association set-up, you will choose the starting year. You'll start from that year and play as long as you want.

As far as I know, only the season replay mode limits you to only one season.

The only downside I found with the andbox mode, is the way ratings are generated for the players. Rather than generating the players ratings based on the year you importing the from, PS seems to use the same algorythm as if it were a career mode (meaning superstars importing with very low ratings).
