I just had another look at the scenario: each unit you build costs 1 Manpower, regardless of type. So if you're low on MP, build more expensive stuff like artillery, and less Rifles.

I've had to do a little bit of a strategic withdrawal! But i did manage to build that airfield in the center that should give me some good ability to tear apart that armor once i stabilize the line.

ANd thanks to zook it looks like next turn i'm goign to become an all tank army :)

Situation on the north i had 2 stranded SS units that i just freed up. Hopefully i can get them out and didn't just make the pocket bigger!

See, in 'normal' AT a horse unit moves 4 hexes on road AND most of the random games I keep playing don't have that much roads (OK, OK - some do...) so there's a lot of "off-road" movement in which there's not much difference.

The effect is - as I get it - that you get ADDITIONAL casualties if you have more than 100 stack points in a hex that's being attacked or attacking. (zook08 - correct me if I'm wrong for WaW ... ) Although you can have as many as 150 stack points if you atack from three hexes simultaneously (+a 50% combat bonus) AND 200 stack points if you attack from four hexes (+a 100% combat bonus) Again - this is from 'normal' version - correct me if I'm wrong.

It's a special scenario rule. Each side gets X manpower per turn and each unit costs 1 MP, in addition to production.

its basically that you start the scenario with a certain amount of manpower that you can use. 1 unit = 1 manpower. You get 100 more manpower for each turn so that way you can't really out produce the other guy. :) SO i'm going to have to go all tanks and expensive items since the 120 rifleman a turn is killing my manpower.

Supply is not a problem right now i have 65k extra in OKW from having to produce so much supply LOL. Not maxing out my infantry i produce is going to save me a ton and also goign to let me make a ton of supply and PP every turn.

Does USSR surrender when i take leningrad, moscow & stalingrad?

I flew in the Italian airforce that has been on Malta interdicting traffic to the city north of Kuwait that took care of the enemy that was trying to break me down at kuwait.

I moved the plans from Malta becuase since i've secured greece and the middle east i dont get much enemy supplies moving through my territory.

Stalingrad Area

The enemy spearhead that was thrusting through me around stalingrad area was wiped off the map by my swarm of divebombers that are now DB III. This enabled us to push up to the gates of Stalingrad again and the river line to the south west of stalingrad to hold off attacks.
