At Bats over 10 pitches

Hey guys,

I just purchased and installed PSBB 2007 and I am really enjoying it[:D]. I came across something in the very first game I managed vs. the AI. I am playing using Lahman 5.5 in the 1960 season. I brought Joe Schaffernorth in to pitch in the 7th inning. He pitched 34 pitches to 4 batters, 15 pitches each to 2 batters in a row! Is this something that happens in PSBB more than usual, or is this just part of the game? I know it can happen in real life, just curious if this is an anomoly.[&:]

Yes, safe to say that IS an anomaly. Fouls do get counted, so some weird stuff CAN happen occasionally. What's Shaffernorth's ratings?

Schaffernorth ratings - Stuff 75 Velocity 57 Control 74 Endurance 16 Hold Runners 65 Potential 74. His endurance is primarily why I have him as a reliever. He pitched 4 years in the majors with a 4.58 ERA.

RE: pitch counts. I'm watching the Pirates-Marlins game. Pitt P Matt Morris threw 30 pitches in the 2nd and 34 in the 3rd. Yeah, it happens. [8|]
