A First Scenario

Post by Redleg »

"For the Rodina",

a scenario created by using the Random Battle Generator, playtesting and then loading it into the Scenario Editor where I altered the victory flag values and locations. I also altered the OOB from which players purchase their troopers for the battle.

I find this difficult from the Soviet side and I think the German side will not be so difficult. The next time I play it, I will try the German side.

My intent is to demonstrate that scenario creation in this game is easy after a bit of practice with the tools.

The file is zipped and should be unzipped to /scenarios folder. It will not overwrite anything unless by some stroke of fate, you have a scenario in there with the same name.

If anyone plays this, I'd appreciate hearing criticism and outcomes.

Thanks,
Redleg

Thanks for sharing. I'll see if my turdbox can handle it.

Here are a couple of campaigns that you did for SPWAW that might convert to PCK

I don't think I have the experience with Kharkov yet to get that ambitious.  Still trying to master the basics.

The Polish campaign was fun - it was one of my favorites.  Maybe when I get more practice.  I gotta learn to walk before I run. [:'(]

Ok then, agreed. Just trying to inspire you [;)] with something familiar. You already have the OOB and briefing this way.

Fun battle - I pulled out a Decisive playing as the Soviets. I would suggest changing the Panzer 35ts to Panzer 38ts simply because we have no unique model for the 35t so it shows up with the generic Panzer IIIJ one.

Otherwise, had a great time and a great first effort. [8D]
