Rick,
Not to interrupt Erik's tech support but ...
In your first sunken 88 thread, Erik was curious as to whether, on the next turn, when you gave the 88 a facing order whether it fixed the problem as the physics model kicked in and moved the 88 up onto the terrain.
If this didn't fix it, then, as a novice 3D person, I can only assume the 88 model, when built, wasn't lined up properly (Y coordinate below zero) so it remained sunken.
Again, sorry to jump into this.
Rob
Thanks Mraah haven't heard anything back on it. And no, I used it the rest of the game targetting and facing - no change.
You may be right - though in that case, I'd think that unit would always display that problem and I don't think it does.
Another possibility is maybe in placing it as a reinformcement it got shifted and didn't get "grounded" properly. I know that can be an issue with map objects - when I was doing Balta scenario I had more than one building floating in the air. And I don't know how many foxholes I buried!
Thanks again - and are you going to be going thourhg your model making steps as you do your tank model?
And I've made it through both of those Mcensk battles in any event!
Thanks
Rick
