My First impressions

Developed from the United States Marine Corps training simulation, Close Combat: Marines, you take command of modern US forces or various opposition forces in one of 25 scenarios included with the release.

My First impressions

Post by Adraeth »

Bought, downloaded, tried [:)]

I do like the game. I like the editor very much, i tried some scenario renaming the units with italian ones (Tuscania, Col Moschin, Folgore) and so on...

I have to "understand" the real time for i always play turn based or we-go.

I do not feel the absence of a Campaign (but i often do not play campaigns in other games too, so i can understand the campaign complaints by others).

The only thing i can regret by now: sometimes i feel like the AI is slow in reactions and prefer to move its units in move on cover mod, this should be interesting for a defensive AI, but for a meeting engagement or an offensive this could be done better. (maybe in a new patch [:)])

After all, assuming CCMT is a game based on a assistant-program for US Marine Corp, i have to say i enjoy it.

Periods i like: age of muskets, napoleonics, modern combat.

It wil only take a few mins to understand rreal time. Ply it in the slow mode until you do.
