Any german who lost his beloved tiger and thinks we stole it can report to the red square unarmed to complain

We found them...

They have grown up and now called kingtigers. I hope to show them to you shortly.

And no doubt they will be re-painted white ... snow Tigers! [8D]

We have enough tigers captured for 3 tank armies. The problem is they are crap, always some errors. We repair them once every year as we should :) Our tanks go like that with no problem.

We will retreat before them, and lead them to a swamp. Mother nature will bring them down. And if not they will get a steady diet of js3.

Deadly quiet on the front. We can feel the excitement of the enemy troops. Luftwaffe is back! They prepare for counteroffense, our troops try to dig in as fast as possible. We know fear again... VVS has left our troops nearly alone.

No losses.

The prey has bitten back :) Tiger was stopped at a very bad place. Now at least one will join the other panzer korpses in prisoner camp.

This game is becoming so bug ridden in the air for Germany that losses she is suffering from it are insane. There have been instances of HQ's with fighters on cap that have not intercepted the VVS 2 hexes away. Air defences that have proved themselfs in 41-43 do not work in 44. I have setup a game with the air defence that I currently have and they intercept the targets in question but they are not doing it in my game against tom. No such bugs have been found against the Soviet air defences and many many against Germany's.

I believe it has now reached a point of being totaly unplayable

If there was air defenses and bug, we have to replay again. We did it many times, as there are really many bugs with german cap :( The strange is we could not figure out yet why and when this bugs happen.

Tom and I have been doing some play testing to work out these bugs but its very hard to find them as it takes alot of time sending the turns to each other. We know there are problems and have to some how work around them so we can finish our game. We are unsure if this is a possum only problem.

Ouch!  Hearing about these bugs is sad, but hardly too surprising.  I mean this game was written for DOS orginally and then ported to the NT OpSys.  I wonder if this also might have been 'biting' TDV/Morphy in their game?

Tiger, do you only see it in this game, or also with Josan?

Some times when u attack you get some very poor numbers showing up for battle. This time it happened in a very very bad position.

Attacking force

4 full strength PzG ss divisions
4 ss Pz divisions strong but around 60% exp
4 full strength ss divisions attacking across a river

I recall only 800 squads showing up for battle and around 500 tanks. I was shocked with the small numbers showing up.

I replayed the turn and played it the same way and the results were very different.

Well over 1000 squads and around 800 tanks showed up for combat retreating the tank armie and surrendering the other.

If I recall correctly I failed to retreat the tank armie on a 3;1. On the replayed turn I think I got a 5;1

That is a very very big difference

The German player can only pick them up and Josan has said nothing about it

Known bugs....

OKW... This HQ's CAP range changes over time. eg it can cover Munich early turns but does not late war. OKW CAP range seem to me to revert to a normal HQ. OKW range differs from OKH and I think it makes better sence to form a air defence in the later.
Rum seems bugged regarding cap. A hq failed to intrecept the VVS 2 hexes away.
Germany got intercepted flying a airtransport mission app. 13 hexes away from the closest Soviet HQ

Its too hard trying to find out the causes of these bugs in a PPEM game.

I dont have any problems bugs as germans right now with my game with Kingtiger. But we are playing Standard V.3.3.
If a remember well were some problems with Possum Mod in 43 and 44 scenarios. Maybe also can happen if you even begin to play the game in 1941 arrive to 1944 or 1945
