Strategic Map
I noticed on the Strategic map that I can view the Allied reinforcements when changing the dates but not so the Axis.
RE: Strategic Map
Weird, I'm playing as the Germans and can see when reinforcements are scheduled to arrive.
Are you playing as Allies/US? Then you should only be able to see that sides reinforcements. If you are playing as the Germans and they are not showing zip up the campaign saved game and upload it for the developers to take a look....

RE: Strategic Map
Here it is.
Even if I start a new GC I still dont see when the German BG's come on the strat map.
On the main screen should I see version 4,50 after the patch is installed?

hmmm
yes, I see your problem with your saved game.
Michael given the problems you posted in the other thread I'd say re-install the game.
Either there is something wrong with your installation or with your PC.

RE: Strategic Map
Unfortunately I have to confirm that with a new German GC I can no longer see reinforcements too....

RE: Strategic Map
Is it possible to create a new strat map and use filters other than the green/red that is applied now?
Lets say I wanted a graphic instead of a solid red/green overlay.
Also is it possible to get a few things from the creators of WAR?
I.E.
Tree shadows to fix maps that dont display them on the zoomed out view and hopefully (I pray) layered TGA's for a few of the CCImages file?
I would like to correct the layout of WAR to match previous versions of CC where the Germans are on the right and the Americans are on the left.
Previous versions were layed out accordingly to the position of the BG's on the strat map.

RE: Strategic Map
OMG!
The Germans are on the left and the Americans are on the right. I am not sure I can handle that. Seriously. Come to think of if I haven't seen the scenario edit screen yet. But, on the other hand, for modding purposes, it would be better to have the Germans on the left, right?

RE: Strategic Map
The Germans are on the Right and attack West
The Americans are on the Left.
B Groups in the scenario editor have the US on the Left and Germans on the right.

RE: Strategic Map
Change the side the allies bgs display on in the scenario editor by changing one number in the stratmap.txt from 0 to 1. The line that says "Which side do Allied BGs appear on in Scenario Editor?"
If it does not have a gun, it cannot be fun.

1. Nope, that's an exe operation
2. Plenty of tree shadow templates available in the community
3. You'll need to make them from scratch...nothing available in layers, sorry

RE: Strategic Map
Just for fun I decided to check for reinforcements dates again on the strat map and I see units arriving on the 5th and the 8th but nowhere else.
If that helps any.

RE: Strategic Map
The same error that was in the original CCIV.
On the Strat map the info panel with the map is still wrong for Dasburg,it needs to be rotated counter clockwise one turn.
Is this one of those Easter Eggs?

RE: Strategic Map
Classic CC4 has not been updated except where necessary to make it compatible with WaR.
If it was in the original then you should still see it now as we have supplied the Original CC4 (as much as practicable) in all it's glory.

RE: Strategic Map
Hello,
I cant say if this was the case before the patch as I didnt notice it till just now but on continuing my GC after the patch the map Clervaux has no Strategic Resolution Icon.
I even tried a reboot to see if that would help.
The patch did however remove the empty German BG on the one map I posted a few days ago.
