Sorry To Beat A Dead Dog But...screen Shots!

Post by M4Jess »

Just to make sure...are the screen shots ok?

If I were a player I would allow them as long as who could view them was VERY CLEAR!.... I am trying to do just that..

also if I was a player I would NEVER ...NEVER ... fight a player who might cheat this way!

The screen shots are for NON-PLAYERS that want to follow the battle.. and for the player side who already knows what is up with "this" screen shot!

To all the E-Mial players,,,rather I post your screen shots -or-not... please respond with a yes vote or a no vote.. here...

I vote for the Screen Shots. I ain't gonna cheat and ruin what is turning out to be a real cat and maus game.

I just wish the pictures were a little bigger.....my 49 year old eyes just can't see those little ant like units.:p

Honestly, this is about the best run and most fun I have had playing this game. It adds alot to it and you all should be commended. I wish I had found this earlier on.:D

I don't feel Old....No...Really

Post by TimeTanker »

So far the only signs that I am getting old are:

1) I am 5'8" and my 13 year old daughter just passed me on her way to 5'9". Both my sons 21 and 18 shot past me long ago. (I thought I was only going to do the shrink thing after 60!!)

2) When you REALLY can hear your bones creaking when you walk.

3) When the last thing you remember was that you were sitting in front of you computer at work (shortly after lunch) and now the receptionist is gently waking you up to tell you she has to go home.

The game is going well. I think we are both like circling boxers a jab here and a jab there but nothing substantial yet. I have of course the benefit of your description and the historical knowledge of what those AB guys had to face. So I am trying my best to conserve and "Shrink" my defensable area.

Gmenfan is no dummy and he knows how to move without being seen. So I have to assume the action at the entry points was "Gratis" and that when it comes it will come with a really big massed attack.

Hey do you think you could put the Text "Nuts" on one of the buildings of Bastogne? That way Gmenfan could get a real historical feel for the game.... :D

Man, I'm 37 have 2 boys 17 & 13 both are about 6'3" and I'm 5'9" 17 got his license a month ago or so and I'm aging by the minute. As for sneeking I've got to given the circumstances I'm on the advance, with now armor in the interior so I have move slowly and quitely in a recon type mission, to try and find you and remember where you are until the cavalry arrives.

More screen shots. (said again and again and again)

I think it really adds a lot to be able to follow along with the thread storyline if you can occasionally SEE some of the action.

(and in color, no less!)

As to 'honor in others', I'm for just letting Karma work it out. If one feels they've got to cheat to win, that's so sad. :(

I think most of us are beyond that. Where's the fun??

I agree, although I'd like a few wider "set up" shots as they're called. That way you can see the avenues and observe the fof and such. Once or twice the same area from both sides (like the roadblock up north) from both sides.

Mind, these aren't complaints, the shots are good -- just requests from the armchir director.
