Pictures from 1940 Army-Navy Game

Post by Old Coach »

Army vs Navy. The game in ended in a 14-14 tie. In an earlier thread, I said that in all my playtest and gameplay up until now I had not ever had a game tied at the end of regulation. A few days ago I had Michigan and Boston College play to a 7-7 tie in the snow. This Army-Navy game was played in the rain. So, bad weather and equal teams can produce a tie score.

Here's the pictures of Navy on offense. On my last post, I hit "OK" before I uploaded the picture.

Well I did have that one shootout in the snow, and I had a 7-6 stalemate in mild weather, so there are some exceptions.

Also, there's no wind to consider either. I know in some other football games, if there's wind and snow, it's a low scoring affair
