For the Soviets, have you considered:
- Su-85 (for tank destroyer brigade)
- US M3 Halftrack (lend-lease)

SU-85 could be very useful for the months after Kursk to fight Tigers and Panthers (and the SU-100 to fight Tigers II) and I would remember the SU-57 derived from the M3. We need also the Pz IV H (with schurzen) and a beautiful 3 colors camo Tiger I, the stock version is a little ugly... Another interesting lend-lease tank, apart the M3 Lee-Grant ("The coffin for 7 brothers") for the two guns problem, is the Churchill.

Any suggestions of next model I should work on?
I have blueprints of the Hetzer. Nice little vehicle.
But also I might try something different like the T-55.

I'd like to see the Panzer III and IV get a proper face-lift.

It's going to be the Hetzer.

I agree some of the early models from PCOWS need a remake. The Tiger I is a little smallish.

That is the good thing about frag motion it should be able to rescale it directly (the Tiger).

I say *should* but these things always encounter problems.

True, given the more recent models, they could use one.

I've got drawings for most of the Panzer III and IV series.....the big problem as always, is texturing them.

Besides using almost twice the polys as the release models I use a different texture style than the PCOWS art style. I always thought the game's early models looked like they were left outside in weather for 50 years. Even pictures of capured tanks at Aberdeen had less rust than many of the German tank models.

Just to learning to model I am working on the T-28, I hope the learning curve is low...

More than one turret isn't possible. More than one main gun isn't usable.
But that's fine as it can be incorporated when a future version does.

The T-28 has just one main gun in turret, the 76 mm, in the smaller turrets there are two MGs that could be treated normally as in the hull (better than nothing...).
But for the time it will be finished we'll have PCK 4 or 5! [:D]

I don't think a second (third overall) firing point for the mg will work but the data can handle if because I believe there may be a 2x 7.62mm DT table.

Mobius,

I'd like to place a second vote for an M3 halftrack (OK, OK, so I'm also the one who put the first vote in).

It could be used by the Soviets (lend lease) and also opens the door for some West Front and Arab-Israeli scenarios.  I understand that the Soviet reaction time is hard-coded, which limits the West Front utility, but there are some scenarios (early Bulge, for example) where US command was in disarray.  With respect to early Arab-Israeli scenarios, Mraah's M4 and some T-34/85s already provide a good base and German FJ (Israeli paratroopers) vs Soviet (Arab) soldiers would make a good match.

Anyway, just some ideas.  I'm not trying to take away from whatever Matrix may have in mind for their next release, but given how little activity there is on this forum (there only seems to be a small cadre of dedicated modders) I'm just looking for ways to make the game appeal to more people.

As an aside, does the game permit German vs German?  That would open up other opportunities, if it did.
