I played a lot of wargames but this system beats them all. I don’t like monster games with huge armies on a battalion scale but this one is just right. This one has a scale of a division or two where it makes sense to play with short or reinforced battalions even down to a reinforced company scale. Everything works and works well, and I LOVE the terrain the non-hex movement. This is a really fun game for me. Please don’t fall into the uber ober tons of armies Russian front trap. Keep it small and fun and playable. Love this game.

Quite frankly, I too have wondered how the East Front would work with this system. The EF DDT has made a lot of progress and the map i've seen is a colossal effort, but I have yet to see what a typical scenario would look like.
