Now this is a bloodbath.

Airborne cleared hopefully rest of Eindhoven with xxx corps and captured the hex in town and the hex just north from Eindhoven :) No losses. At Grave troops followed a german squad in to the woods only to find another squad :( Airborne also tried bazookas against marder and jpz but with no luck. One 10.5cm was destroyed also. At Njimigen things are not looking nice. The town is filled with tanks, halftracks and ss :( Got one squad and one sp-gun here, crewmen did nice job cutting the visibility with smoke before they were cut down :) Stugs and infantry are also heading towards Groosbek, one squad should be taken care of, bazookas didn't hit stugs this time.

And then there's Arnhem :( Tanks, halftracks and ss moving closer every turn and it's not a pretty sight :( XXX corps better move fast if they want to get here in time.

Eindhevon Area
I have lost Eindhevon so the that means Veghal is the next fight. After the rout in Eindhevon the troops defending Veghal vow to defend to the last drop of blood.

Grave
Two fearless Opel truck divers charged two AB squds firing their pistols. The trigger happy Americans fired around six bazooka rounds at the two trucks. But none of the rounds hit! The Amis realizing what was really going on shifted fire to a JPz-IV/70 driing acroos the bridge. Too bad they were out of bazooka op fire.:D

Nijmegen
Here the airborne can aim hier bazookas. Three HTs were destoried by hidden squads, but the SS men on them piled out and returned fire.

Will email to Kaakao. M4 do you want the turn too?

Great, Eindhoven is secured and xxx corps are moving out. Veghal is defended by atleast 2 at guns and mg's. Interesting to see how things develop from here, the first town without paratroopers.

At Grave one Marder and that Jpz which Hades allready mentioned were taken care of, btw 60mm mortar is nice for supression :)

Njimigen doesn't seem to like ss, 3 ss-squads die and airborne takes no losses :) There's atleast 2 or more stugs heading towards Groosbeek but atm I can't do nothing to them.

In Arnhem few airborne dies when fighting against tanks and crewmen, took one v-hex back and shot the crew of one Jpz.

At the end of the turn, 2 typhoons did some seek and destroy. Pilots had their eyeglasses and one Pz-IV and Jpz said boom :)
Anyway, Arnhem won't hold without help from xxx corps :(

Ah, direct mortar fire. Nothing like it. In Arnhem several British squads won't be needing rations anymore due to 8cm sniper fire. Most of the squads dispersed after one shot. An omen? I hope so.
Thanks to two bad clicks I lost a HT and Panzer in Njimigen, but don't worry I have a lot of defencive fire power left.
In Grave the brave truck drivers were slain, a Iron Cross will be next to their next of kin.
Veghal should interesting.

Go Airborne !

2 stugs, 2 mg42's, 2 rifle squads, 105mm hovizer and 2 ss squads say byebye with small losses. Grave is secured now.

XXX corps moved closer to Veghal and one Stuart spotted a Marder, after support from several tanks marder said boom :)
Couple of AC's found atleast one flak. This flag was most likely the same that shot down one of our gliders. Field court-martial was quick :)

Hades really has some great snipers, my respects for that move. My whole defence system east from the bridge got wiped out

At the end of turn C47's came down dropping more troops, but wait ! They dropped them on the wrong side of the river so they can't help in Arnhem and there's no v-hex even near them :(

I'm also a bit worried that I haven't faced any tanks bigger than Pz-IV, there's got to be some big cats around here somewhere.

Henry isn't this tea great? "Yes sir, some of the best." Then a rifle cracks, and a bullet impacts into the back of the British commander's aid. Then RRRRWWPP!!! A MG42 sprays some near by trucks. The rest of the British HQ hurriedly jumped into some ditches while a rifle squad returned fire.
:D :D :D :D
Lets see how you fight after you lose your HQ!!

In Arnhem they AB squads are being forced back to the south west. Some big tanks just joined the battle!! I mean BIG!! 8cm mortar tracks are the heros of the day. One cause three AB squads to retreat. Things are looking up for the Nazis.

Near Vehgal I spotted some M4s and CS tank advancing.

Other than that, it was a quite turn.

Hades revealed a nice suprise, but luckily there were troops near and no damage was done (except to 3 german rifle squads and one crusader aa) Also, you weren't shooting at my HQ, it was Platoon HQ, not quite the same :D

My tanks made a bold move into Veghal and it worked, about half of the town is now under my control and hopefully only few rifle squads are still blocking my way. Also, few AC's found an ammo carrier, big boom :)

One truck got wasted near Grave and troops are closing in the gap between Grave and XXX corps. One rifle squads dies in Njimigen, one stug dies in Groosbeek (Hades got the v-hex in town with two stugs but the situation should be taken care of within the next few turns).

Arnhem is not a nice place. Tigers, halftracks, panthers, trucks, spa's, everything moving against my airborne, nice challenge against PIATs. Somebody give me a bazooka and I'll kill every last one of you

Typhoon hit one Mortar track and the other typhoon missed all of his rockets when attacking a halftrack.

I'm also hoping that I'll arrive to Njimigen without any fight after Veghal, that would give the airborne in Arnhem better chance to survive.

Crap!! Oh well. I really wish I had gotta your HQ, but oh well.
The only action happened in Arnhem one Tiger and a SS squad chased some AB out of the way.
Veghal will not hold out much longer, but I still have a firm grasp on Njimigen.
files on the way

Now things are looking nice. Veghal is cleared and tanks are heading towards Njimigen, which still isn't cleared. Few AC's shot at two 12cm mortars killing the other squad. One of my mobile grills got stuck so I can't start barbequeing yet :)

Airborne retook the v-hex in Groosbeek but the other stug has vanished somewhere, hopefully we can relocate it during the next turns. Arnhem is still a mess, I don't have control of the northern end of the bridge so there can be anything heading southwards. A group of crewmen revenged by destroying a Tiger, sweet :) Another Pz-IIIn is also gone.
