Disband and Withdraw question?

Post by Larz6235 »

Sorry if this has been asked and answered.
Why is it that some units that have other units in the same hex that this units resides have the disband and\or withdraw selections in "RED" and the unit is within range of its HQ? Will it go yellow when the time comes to actually diband or withdraw the unit? I inderstand and have read that the "Red" indicates that the plances will be destroyed. i am trying to avert that and atleast return to them to the replacement pool.

Answering from semi-undeerstanding <G>:

As the allies some of the units that are "withdrawn" are sent to the European Theater of Operations with their aircraft and their crews. So these are removed from the scope of the game when withdrawn, not added to the pools. These are mostly units that begin on the US mainland.

There are other units (Phillipine and Dutch) that you can't recycle in the usual way as well because they are intended to stay there in the PI or DEI.
