Out of Fuel

I have a sub with zero fuel 3 hexes from Raubal. What are my options? It appears I cannot send a sub transport with fuel to help...do I have to send an AO there or should I just scuttle that sub (and shoot the skipper).

In general terms, how does the game handle bingo fuel? Do I have to micro manage all the tf's to make sure they don't get stranded?

The sub, despite out of fuel, can move 1 hex per turn. Set the subs home port to Rabaul (assuming that's the closest port) and three days from now, it will limp in. It won't sink from lack of fuel, but will quickly sustain system damage.

As far as running out of fuel goes, now that the patch has fixed the "subs running out of fuel while out on patrol bug," I've had zero problems with TF's running out of fuel. Just be sure when setting up TF's that the TF itself is "in the green" in terms of range. If it is, you have no worries.
