Nice game with some problems, namely the graphics seem muddy on my system, not a large amount of campaign battles and clicking on one one hex moves units to a different hex.

I hate to say it but this game seems more DIY than a proffesional job. Not sure yet if it was worth my money....and yes, i bought it with the box so I paid more.

Muddy graphics, make sure you set the choices in the OGRE window that pops up when you start the game.

Clicking on a hex moves units. Not sure what you mean. If you want to deselect a unit, use the spacebar.

More campaigns will be coming.

I have not run into the case the click one hex, move to another.
Maybe you mean that the unit moves to a nearby hex, then you should click accurately. Sometimes this happens to me, but you can avoid it by zoom in the map.

Im zoomed in. I  might be I am not used to the angle of the map.I think I would have prefered a PzG 2-D map or even a PzG II map over this one. It doesnt look finished. Maybe its just me.  In regards to the muddy graphics, that was on the default which corresponds roughtly to what PzG was so many years ago. They do look quite nice at full resolution but horrible at lower, even much worse than the aforementioned PzG which seem light years ahead.

I have to force myself to play this. I tried PzG right after trying this and I had more enjoyment with the oldie. But that said, I hated the demo for X-com(both the US and Brit versions) but bought it cheap and then loved it. So this might be an aquired taste. I hope so, theres a lot to enjoy here.

When you state more campaigns will be coming, do you mean; eventual user Mods, added campaigns with an update, or the purchase of an expansion pack?

I agree, I want to love this game,it has so much potential. But for me,the campaigns aren't immersive enough, and the inevitable CTD I experience, makes the game a chore to play.
The game can be great,it needs some polish.Your nickel is on the money.

Hopefully by more campaigns you mean ones that are much longer, not more 4 battle campaigns.

Okay as to the graphical issues:

occasionally a unit will seem to flip upside down and/or tilt oddly.. Infantry walking look like they are being elecrocuted when they walk in this upside down condition trucks and halftrakcs pop wheelies or seem to have their nose buried in front of them, I read somewhere on here though that this is being fixed. A work around is when you see this, save the game exit to the main menu then reload the save. The save quit to main and reload on this game seems VERY FAST so this isn't too burdensome.. and especially since the devs have id'd this problem and are I assume working on a fix for the next patch.

Click on a hex the unit moves to another hex:

This happens and it doesn't happen.  This complaint should I think more properly be declared as "It is not always clear what hex your cursor is over" so the end result is I occasionally move a unit to the wrong hex, the overall effect is that I spend a LONG time trying to position the cursor properly so that I DON'T screw up moves.  This really needs to be fixed, perhaps if the current hex your cursor is over were slightly shaded?

Just to clarify, even when I spend a LONG time trying to position the cursor I occasionally mess up.. this really needs to be addressed!

Problem I have is usually when I am moving a unit to a hex where there is an air unit in the hex. Couple of times I gave up, as the existing unit in hex kept getting selected, etc. And yes, I did select the air/land icon first.

On crowded battlefields with lots of air, it can be messy, but not a gamebreaker by any means.

Yes my 2 major issues are the short campaigns and the mouse clicking issue as well. Only a problem when you unearth a hidden enemy unit and can't use the go back button. As mentioned before I would like to see mech units having the ability to fire after movement.

I bought the game this weekend and I wish I had chosen something else. I can only hope they can do some patches and make it better.
