Production Screen

From the legendary team at 2 by 3 Games comes a new grand strategy masterpiece: Gary Grigsby’s War Between the States. Taking gamers back to the American Civil War, this innovative grand strategy game allows players to experience the trials and tribulations of the role of commander-in-chief for either side. Historically accurate, detailed and finely balanced for realistic gameplay, War Between the States is also easy to play and does not take months to finish.

Production Screen

Post by Capt Cliff »

I've lost control of my PRODUCTION screen. It won't show me any of the info in the three boxes in the center and will not let me build anything new except supply (my old selections like building ironclads are still there and moving along, but no new items can be selected). [&:]

Are you sure you are not in the reaction or move phase?

You have to click the arrows to change to different locations.. then you will be able to pick stuff.. took me awhile to figure that one out..

Make sure you click on a state and then a city within the state and that you are in the production phase.  I still forget and keep trying to do builds from the state production screen without going to a city.

No I am in the production phase ... have I inadvertantly enabled the computer controlled production?

Is this the first turn of the game? It is possible you set your side to computer production. I don't know of any way to change this once in the game. If this is after turn 1, then can you go back to an earlier save and repeat the problem?

I just realized that if you had computer control, you'd skip the production phase entirely. Can you send a save to 2by3@2by3games.com. Trying to back up a save and repeat the problem would also help. Thanks.

Ok, I'll send you the psv file. Now the problem is with my opponent in a PBEM game. We are in Oct 61 and I sent him my Union move, I am not having the problem with the union side, and he came back with the problem. I then copied and pasted from his e-mail what he sent me at the beginning of this thread. I assume he used my file did his move turn and went to the production screen, and the only things he could build was supply??!! Do you need his password?
