Pretty sure it's just single player.

Yes, there is no multiplayer element in DW. But you never now. A update like you said might have it later down the line.

Personally I reckon adding multiplayer would be a too big of a project what with having to add a bunch of netcode etc for it to be a simple patch.

I hope they leave MP out. If it's added then you will have the Buff/Nerf balance seasaw that never seems to end and does nothing for the single player game. I'd rather play with unique races and tech that requires me to adjust my strategy for each of them, than have all the races made the same in the endless quest for multiplayer balance.

To say nothing of the "Turn the speed up!!!" nonsense I got from my one and only attempt at playing HOI DD multiplayer.

AI aside (early days), this is one actually of those games where MP wouldn't fit too well IMHO, at least with being a radically different game from the SP one.

Please keep the focus on SP, nobody has the time to play this type of games MP. Resources are much better spend on improving other aspects of the game imho.

Ah early not sure what you mean. Please show me any Matrix game or any wargame that can take on a even an intermediate player? I have most of the Matrix ones. Maybe I'm missing something?? AI bashing usually gets boring after the first 3-4 games IMHO.

I think his main point is that MP would not work well with this game as it is. I have to agree, it is great as a single player game.

Mp would work fine in this.. You just have to find the right kind of people to play...
