Storm vs Wrath

While waiting for the demo to come out I thought I would ask those who have both:
Storm Over the Pacific or Time of Wrath? Which do you prefer and why? I'm thinking about one or the other and hoping not to cave and buy both. [:'(]

Time of Wrath has a demo and this one will have one in a few days, so you can either wait or wade in.

AFter you get one, you'll want both. So go with the one which strikes your fancy at the moment - like when I read a book about the Eastern Front, I'm hankering to go play a game on it.

The only solution is to buy both, then no worries. [:)]

I decided to go ahead and grab this one. I like it so far but I'm having a hard time with the unit graphics. In the Time of Wrath demo it's very easy to see the sprites and their information. In Storm it is VERY hard to see the sprites and information. The sprites blend in to the background too much and I can't see the move indicators and dots at all. The other three unit options aren't much better. The Nato icons are the best but alas, I don't like using them. Is it possible to make the sprites in this game more visible??

Try the sprites combined with the "classic" map. That´s (basically) what i do & it works good for me.

Ok, I've had a look in the game folders. Here's a screenshot of what I'm thinking of doing. It's combination of the sprites and counters. I like the default game map and this makes the units stand out more on it. Let me know what your thoughts are!

Also, not sure why the image above was magnified/stretched. Trust me, it's not blurry in the game. [:)]

I hope to post Sprite Counters v1.0 tonight. I'm only doing the land units for now. I don't mind the ships and planes as they are right now. I can always make sprite counters out of them as well, though, if there's a demand for them.
On a side note, why are there more types of Nato sets than Sprite sets? I noticed German icons in the Nato folder. I'm guessing that's just leftovers from the other WWII game?

Q1 Some of us prefer the NATO symbols on our counters. Maybe there are enough of us to be a majority? [8D]

Q2 Without the authoritative answer from the gurus at WI, I would speculate that the inclusion of German counters allows for a German presence in the Pacific. After conquering the USSR and the British Empire, the Third Reich's Wehrmacht arrives on the Chinese borders and Indian Ocean littoral.[8|]

Good work BBmike

I personally like counters and keeping the unit info box open with the pictures.
