A.I.

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

A.I.

This looks very promising but, for me, a great deal will depend on the veracity of the AI.

Can the AI play both sides with a resonable level of challenge and does it offer some variation in it's approach?

Or is this essentially an MP game with a token add-on AI, as happens so often?
Cheers

Crowley. Vic has worked a lot on the AI for this release, as i understand it it was one of the focus points. So if you played AT (where the AI was quite reasonable compared to a lot of other games) this will be a substantial improvement when it comes to AI resistance.

The AI hardly uses any scripting so it should react differently each time, provided you play differently.

I think the AI is quite good. It has been one of the main focus points of development to provide entertaining play against the AI.

best,
Vic
