Combat resolution

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

Combat resolution

Post by BodyBag »

Hi all!

Not having played AT, how is the combat shown? Do you hear sounds, see some graphics or is it only a dry report with the numbers?

There are some sounds of fighting. There's a graphically animation of the fight while it happens, There's also a vry detailed report with all the numbers in volved in the fight if you want to get into the nitty gritty. [8D]

Thanks for the quick reply. Being a bit of a control freak (with games), I like nitty gritty [:)]

Is it still on for an august release?

Ok, what about when you move troops. Is there an audio or visual response, like the sound of tanks, marching inf., airplane-engines or something like that?

Could be great with some cool audio to go with the pretty graphics [:)]

Thanks, I'm already squeezing the VISA-card in my hot little hand, waiting to buy!

One last question, when doing PBM, will you see a visual replay of your opponents move & combat?
