Coloured dot on counter and other questions.

At the start of turn two of the Poland scenario some of my German units have red, rather than green, dots. From the colour of their supply overlay I thought it might be out of supply or low supply - but other units are displaying the same supply level and have agreen dot. Could it be distance from HQ? I have checked the manual and can't find the answer.

I know there is a combat advantage for concentric attacks by divisional units but are there disadvantages to separating divisional units?

Does moving an HQ reduce the effectiveness of the staff? I like the idea of the cards representing the commander exerting his influence locally.

Readiness is important but how is it lost and do you have to sit still to regain it?

The red dot means that those units did not receive all the supplies they asked for. On the supply overlay if they are not in a green hex they are not recieveing full supplies. Usually this dot goes yellow first tehn red if they are not getting enough supplies for more thatn one turn. Was their dot yellow the turn before?

There are no penalties for not being close together.

Moving the HQ does not reduce the staff effectiveness.

Readiness is lost in attacking or defending. It's also lost when a unit is moved by strategic movement. It is regains by not moving or fighting.

Hmmm not sure what you mean here.... Can you post a picture of where you are seeing 58/62?

When you double click a unit's photo and it shows the stats for the unit it breaks up the hard attack and the soft attack into two numbers (e.g. 10/20). I haven't found an answer in the manual or online yet for why there are two numbers and why they are different. I'm assuming one is for attack and one is for defense but that's just a guess.

Yes, I think is the correct answer too, given that after the slash the value increase.

I am playing the short Netherlands scenario as the Dutch. What does the -50% (outlined in blue) in the Unit Troops Tab indicate? The percentage was shown for some, but not all, units and then disappeared the following turn.

Hi OldSpec4,

Its a temporary defensive penalty caused by higher command mismanagement. It corresponds with a report about this you should have received.
