but unfortunately, most of my deepest thinking about AE tends to happen at work.

For all the allied aircraft units where you can request several pilots to fill them out: Do the reinforcements have to be turned on for those units to fill up their aircraft to match the pilot count?

It can also be off if you just want to manually do it.

You should know that if you set reinforcements to be allowed the unit will pull both planes and pilots if below 100%. Make sure to set desired pool for pilots to be pulled from. General reserve is usually the best choice, provided that you have put some trained pilots into it.
