Deploying back replenish sqns at CVEs

Post by traskott »

Ok, at a PBEM I made a mistake and put out of my replenish squadrons of my CVE.

They build up to 54, so now they can't be put back on the CVEs.

BUT, if I lose enough planes so he gets a decent number (i.e.=12), I should be able to put back those sqns to the CVE, isn't. Should this works ?

Er... not sure i completely understand the question.

But, if you whittle the squadron down to a size that will fit on your CVE, you should be able to transfer the squadron back onto the CVE.

You might be able to do this by turning replacements OFF, then continually transferring the squadron, leaving fragments behind as they are damaged. Keep moving the squadron (preferably along a chain of bases) until the squadon is small enough. Hopefully, the damaged fragments can be moved onto other (preferably understrength) air units of the same aircraft type and disbanded.

Yes !!! That's the point !!!

Edit: Well, a one month campaign at 100 feets over a japanese island should do the trick.... I hope [8D]
