Saving?

Post by Dr. Foo »

Why can't I save an edited scenario as a different scn file?

I opened GC 41-45 and made some edits I wanted to save the edited files under another name so the original would remain untouched. But there was no option for a new name it just overwrote the original.

Then restore the original CG file I renamed the GC 41-45 to test.scn opened that for for editing and when I saved it just overwrote the original GC 41-45 again changes made to test.scn were not saved.

best greetings, once in the editor, go to the Main section, you may then see your scenario name, just click on it, change name and next time you save it, the engine program will make a new extra copy with the given scenario name, also note, you too have to make a copy/paste of your scenario document, in the scenario directory and rename (manually) the new document to your scenario "extra" copy,

best regards and hope it helps,
