First you have to ensure you have the planes searching "x" number of hexes. Also you have to ensure you have ready aircraft. I have made both of those mistakes.

I believe it was fixed in the latest beta patch. Make sure you are running the beta executable, found in the "beta" sub-folder and not the regular execuatable. This was done, as the latest patch came out during the holidays when Matrix staff were away and so is being distributed via the forums, while testing continues. I imagine, when the patch becomes 'officially' available from the matrix website, it will no longer use the beta executable.

The latest beta is here

Either use the desktop shortcut, created when installing the beta patch, or look in "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\Beta" for the beta executable.

the "Z" key has been working since minimum the release 4/2010. Perhaps the version of the executable is not the issue.

I pointed out around that time that if you leave the arcs on and run the turn (warning this will slow the computer down but if you have the horsepower you can see it) the arcs will reduce and change. I assume this was related to the bug that is not yet fixed?
