Ignore Refueling During Command?

Post by SeattleKCD »

I had a case where I wanted a construction ship to build a gas refinery at a planet, I had moved it there in anticipation of this. When I commanded it to build the plant the first thing it did was warp out back to a location to refuel. Is there a way to force it to not do this (i.e. risk running out of fuel)?

More likely than not it was actually going to somewhere to get the resources to build the components for the refinery, not to refuel.

if it went for resources than the best thing you can do is to let it do it as it will need them
if it goes for fuel and you don't want it, then you need to manually force it (ctrl + command for forcing command if i remember correctly)
...Igniting stellar cores....Recharging reactors...Recalibrating hyperdrives....
