Looking for Europs Opponent

Post by GrumpyMel »

Looking for an opponent for latest version of European Theatre of Operations that I just uploaded to Sandbox.

I'll take either Axis or Western Allies (which-ever one you don't want). We'll pick up a Soviet player once they activate (which will likely be awhile).

Let me know if anyones interested.

(Looking forward to actualy playing this scenerio against some-one)

If you are up for it DRommel, I'd love to have the input/challenge from another player. Germans are the first player, so download the scenerio from the sandbox when you are ready and e-mail me (sd.grumpymel@gmail.com) when you've played the first turn. There are no real scenerio options, so nothing much to worry about as startup options (you'll definately want to make sure AT's Fog of War is on though).

I'd also suggest the following House Rules, if you are agreeable:

1) No zero strength counters (in this scenerio units don't cost any PP's to make so making empty units would be exploity).

2) No invasion of US/Canada or India/Australia/NZ areas (these areas are intended to represent "off-map" production, so not really setup for combat)

3) Let me know if you want to play with "Historical" equipment production or not (i.e. US can only build US equipment, Brits build British, etc. I don't have anything in the scenerio currently that would limit nations from building equipment from other nationalties IN THIER SAME Regime). I can go either way with this one...so whatever your preference works for me.

Hatefm90,

If you want we could start up a 2nd game (think I have bandwidth to play 2) and you could take Axis. Axis is first player...so download the scenerio and send me the first turn when you've played it if you are interested.

Hi all...

Looking for a Soviet Player to join my game with Drommel if anyones interested?

It's Nov. 9th, 1940 and Yugoslavia just activated, choosing a pact with the USSR. That means USSR is now active as well (and controls the Yugoslavs as an ally).

I'm playing the Allies and have just lost France and about to loose the Low Countries. The Germans have also opened up a campaign against Sweden.

Other then that, no other countries activated so far. It's been a fun and hard fought game so far....so definately a good opportunity to jump in.

In this version the Soviets start with war footing 30 and with most of the German troops in the West and worn from bloody campaigns in France and the Low Countries and Winter fast approaching.... the Soviets should be in good shape to fight.

If anyones interested in playing the Soviets, please let us know...you can jump in right away (we haven't done anything with them yet, as they just activated.)
