scenario design question

Post by joey »

If I create a scenario based on a new set of generic data, do I have to use those new generic data files to play the scenario or does the scenario save the changed generic data so that I can run the scenario with the standard generic data? I ask as I am trying to track down the source of some ramdom CTDs.

Right now you need generic data to play scenario. Later on we plan to allow locking generic data inside the scenario file.

This might explain the CTDs every other turn. I will have to switch generic files when playing the scenario. Thanks!

Pavel,

This is a very sound business decision. I applaud and thank you for your efforts in this regard. It will make it easier for me to produce scenarios and simpler for the players to play them.

Pavel,

I second that applause. Will remove the only really annoying bit about mods. Thanks.
