Road to Dnepropetrovsk

I just finished this scenario and while I had a few good encirclements early on...my advanced bogged down in the final third and I failed to secure a several key cities.

I'm sure there are several approaches one can take...but I'm struggling to figure out what is a winning formula in this game. Panzers full throttle or concentrate on killing Russians.

Any pointers would be helpful...

As with any form of combat, the key is to locate your opponent's weakness and exploit it.If your opponent plays well and doesn't have any weaknesses then you'll have to play well just to get a draw.
The question of whether to go for encirclements or all out speed of advance is also a matter of judgement and opportunity.A bit like chess, it's not so important whether you play one defence or another, it's spotting when your opponent has made a mistake.
