Confused about using Repair Bay on map

After not playing for several years I fired up ToS and the first campaign. Things were going well till I came across the first repair bay. When my Titan arrives in the bay I get a message that says to follow the command sequence [a]+ [Repair system] + [Choose the item to repair] + [Wait on repair]. However, pressing [a] just brings up the Choose Weapon window. Is this what is meant to occur? That only weapons can be repaired? I'm running version 1.22 if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help.

I guess the message is wrong and the shortcut is [d]. You can press the repair button in attack mode instead. The repair bay is the same as a very good damage control system.
