how do you save a multiplahyer game?

is it possible to save a multiplayer game and restart it?

I have yet to do so. One problem Im finding is that the game interface menu, is not displayed when it is my oppoenents turn-therefore, their is no button for me to select save game. I have tried maybe 10 times to save mp games but I still have nothing in my multiplayer save file in the game directory... I have all my games saved against the AI, but noting in the mp save folder. Are there supposed to be files there, that one can then bring up in the lobby?

Ya my MP folder is empty too. I had thought that loading a saved MP game was possible.

You should be able to save multiplayer games by pressing the save game button at the right.

yah ive been doing that and the game saved successful message comes up all the time-but there is nothing in my folder and Ive yet to hear if anyone has saved a mp game from the lobby

for some reason, the saved MP game files are stored in the scenario folder.

Hm, this was working pre-release. If you go to start a multiplayer game and then try to load the save in the multiplayer interface, does it come up for you or not?

I'll test this afternoon. The code with the path for saving the game hasn't changed since we verified that it worked, but the code that stores part of the file name was changed late in development when we were experiencing a problem with extra carriage returns from our server, so it could be a problem related to that.

Sorry, I haven't gotten to this yet. Too much stuff flying at my e-mail inbox and in answering forum posts. Testing this is at the top of my list.

hmm i turned auto save off so I can just do manual saves-wonder if that did something. I do remember seeing "saving sucessful" but still, I have no files in my multiplayer folder
