Why Blink--Rectangle

Achtung Panzer:Operation Star is an Eastern Front wargame with solid graphics and sprawling battlefields that really emphasize the scope of WWII tank combat. The gameplay is a remarkably realistic turn-based and real-time operational/tactical hybrid wargame that continues the series begun by the acclaimed Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943.

Why Blink--Rectangle

Post by 0311USMC »

Start new campaign so every thing all ok..ammo,morale,leaders
present. On the 2d map some units blinking..Why.
Some in command circle some not some in same squad others not.Cannot figure out why they blink...is probably something simple, but hope someone can shed light for me.

EDIT

The rectangle with pointy end which is a APC changes to
just a solid red dot...Why? Anyone.

This game has a ton of visual clues if i could just figure them out. Thanks.

If they are blinking yellow they are out of ammo...which is a big problem in many campaigns.

There seems to be a bug in 580 which leads to the icons changing shape. Do you also see the original unit position remaining on the map like a sort of ghost unit?

I don't see this during 581 beta testing, so I have assumed that it was reported elsewhere and fixed.

Roger on the ghosts.

OK. Then I'm 99% sure that it's fixed in the upcoming patch. I haven't seen it during 581 testing, but I did do a full re-install before I updated, so that could also explain it.
